Ana Sofia Batista joined Abreu Advogados in 1996 and is a Partner since 2007. Ana Sofia has a Law Degree from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and an LL.M degree in International Business Law from King's College London, University of London.
Ana Sofia's practice focuses on Corporate and M&A. She works primarily on matters related to business restructuring operations and acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs, contracts and financing, private equity transactions and project finance transactions, in Portugal and Mozambique, providing legal advice and liaising with local lawyers within Abreu Advogados' international network.
Ana Sofia has extensive experience in advising on transactions in the health, transport, food and finance sectors, as well as on corporate housekeeping for national and multinational companies in various sectors of the economy.
Ana Sofia has also lectured in areas connected with corporate and finance law in universities, professional organizations and seminars.
Ana Sofia has been an active member of PWN Lisbon since 2012.
